Who We Are

The Warwick Rosette is Warwick Labour's digital publication, advocating centre-left and social democratic politics since September 2026. Focused primarily on the modern left and its role in the unravelling world of modern populism, we regularly publish opinion journalism on politics and culture, both close to and far from home. 

The Warwick Rosette hosts the work of headstrong commentators and columnists (whose views are their own), delivering its own stance through editorials, or as we call them, The Rosette’s View. As a branch of Warwick Labour, we work closely with the Labour Party, national and local, not as a mouthpiece, but as an independent organisation seeking to critically analyse the world as we see it. 

We have myriad brilliant writers who serve as the backbone of the publication, but we’re always looking to grow. Our current editorial/directive staff consists of Cianan Sheekey (Editor-in-Chief), George Marshall (Deputy Editor-in-Chief), Oliver Chard (Chair of Warwick Labour), and Charles Wawn (Deputy Chair of Warwick Labour). 

At the beginning of October 2026, we were formally admitted into the Student Publication Association.
